Doctors

Dr. Kristina Russell

I graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 after a 4-year bachelor of honours degree in Biology from the University of Winnipeg. I moved to London in 1994 and after working at various veterinary hospitals in the city, I opened a house call practice. The house call practice grew to a point where I was unable to take care of all my patients when they needed me to. I needed a home base and Stoneybrook Animal Hospital became that home base. I purchased this business from Dr. David Yates in 1998 and have combined his patients with my own, to finish with the most awesome place I could ever work.

Dr. Diane Jongert

I pursued the dream of medicine (be it human or veterinary), since high school. I decided that it was going to be veterinary medicine while completing my Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario in 1997. I graduated in 2004 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph and have been working at Stoneybrook Animal Hospital since June 2004. Day-to-day, at Stoneybrook Animal Hospital, I meet many wonderful clients and their many different pets. I enjoy being able to utilize my medical and surgical knowledge and training to make a positive difference in the lives of our companion animals. Many aspects of veterinary medicine appeal to me, but I have a special love for our canine friends – at every stage of their life.

Veterinary Technicians

Christina RVT

I am a graduate of The University of Guelph, Ridgetown College Veterinary Technician Program. I really enjoy my job and find it very rewarding to work with a wide variety of animals. I share my home with my husband, children and pets. I am originally from the Toronto area but am now happy to call London home. I have returned after having my babies, and It’s great to be back as RVT and Practice Manager!

Jessica RVT

My name is Jessica. I was born in London Ontario, and am a recent graduate from Georgian College. I was interested in this profession ever since I was a little girl. I’ve always loved animals and this has been a perfect fit for me. At home, I have Forest my Lab, Thunder my Great Pyrenees and my cats Joey and Mya. I want to be a part of a team of people like at Stoneybrook Animal Hospital, who enjoy working together (like family) to provide the best care possible for our patients.

Samantha RVT

I graduated from the Sheridan College Veterinary Technician Program in 2011 and became a registered technician shortly after that. I love working with and helping animals which has been my passion my entire life. I live with my two dogs, “Lexie” and “Jethro” both of which are rescues from Kentucky. I love being a part of Stoneybrook and look forward to seeing you and your pets!

Cassandra RVT

I have recently graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program from Northern College. I have worked really hard to finally be able to work in this field and working here at Stoneybrook has really been a great experience. At home I have CJ my lab/shepherd/husky mix who I adopted while in school along with my two tabby cats Cricket and Gunner.
