Their Hearts Are In Good Hands

Pets of any age can develop heart conditions, but they are more common in senior pets. Reliable and quick diagnoses are vital to the treatment and continued care of senior pets. Many heart conditions can be discovered during physical exams.

Symptoms that may lead to our veterinarians recommending an ECG include shortness of breath, lethargy and weakness.
An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a test performed on your pet to assess suspected heart conditions.

Non-invasive ECG electrodes are placed on your pet, at the base of their four legs, and a special gel is used, which helps the electrical activity travel through the equipment.

Our veterinarians can analyze the results on-site to determine if your pet is experiencing problems like heart enlargement or rhythm abnormalities.
