Meet Dr. Awad

Dr. George Awad, DVM

Dr. Awad is a dedicated veterinarian with over two decades of experience. He earned his veterinary degree in 1995 from the University of Alexandria, Egypt, and has worked extensively in both large and small animal practices, as well as pharmaceutical research.

In 2013, Dr. Awad successfully completed the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination, becoming a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Canadian Medical Veterinary Association. He spent three years at a busy small and mixed animal hospital in north Ontario, handling various emergency cases and on-call duties.

In 2018, he relocated to London, ON, and joined the team at Stoneybrook Animal Hospital. Dr. Awad’s professional interests encompass internal medicine, surgery, and emergencies. He is known for going the extra mile to ensure the happiness of his patients, clients, and co-workers. He resides in London with his wife Iriny, children Maria and Mark, and their golden retriever, Alpha.
